Building an Office of the Future with Sharp NEC: A New Kind of Collaboration Space. Where Flexibility and Inclusivity are at the Forefront of Hybrid Work.

Our team at Sharp NEC Display Solutions was fortunate to help bring the vision of NWN Carousel’s new Boston Experience and Collaboration Center to life.

At 111 Huntington, inside Boston’s iconic Prudential Towers, we challenged ourselves to take a simplified design approach with customers and employees in mind.

We understand that today’s professionals want the flexibility of Hybrid Work while also having the opportunity to interact and collaborate face-to-face in an inspiring space.

The modern office features real-life displays of integrated secure, cloud solutions for hybrid workflowsdevice management, and easy-to-use visual collaboration workspace solutions. Hardware devices such as touch displays for room reservations, video conferencing systems with QR codes for 24/7 direct support, and custom digital signage are displayed within.

The new Boston Experience and Collaboration Center integrates Sharp’s PN-L652B AQUOS BOARD® as an interactive display allowing meeting participants to annotate and collaborate. The 55-inch Sharp AQUOS® 4P-B55EJ2U commercial tv with 4K UHD resolution and built in tuner and the 55-inch and 75-inch NEC E558 and E758 support the meeting experience with simple plug and play functionality to display content from a laptop or provide digital signage messaging or imagery.

With the launch of NWN Carousel’s second innovative workspace, the new facility, showcases state-of-the-art digital solutions that have proven to dramatically improve the employee experience across NWN Carousel and Sharp/NEC’s vast customer base.

It serves as a national model for organizations optimizing their commercial real estate footprint while maximizing in-person and remote work collaboration for their hybrid workforces. Offering employees, and clients, an efficient 6,300 sq ft collaborative design with integrated technologies optimized for businesses in a rapidly changing world.

“The hybrid design offers different styles of collaboration spaces including an open clubhouse, informal touchdowns,  focus rooms, and conference rooms of different capacities. Each space is flexible, intended for engagement rather than traditional isolated cubicles,” Brian Ficther, VP of Visual Collaboration, NWN Carousel.

“We’re thrilled that Sharp/NEC products were a part of this creative transformation. The hybrid work experience has been a learning curve for us all, and it means so much that we were able to assist NWN Carousel with bringing their vision to life. We look forward to potentially co-hosting our customers here so they can enjoy the collaborative space,”

Betsy Larson, Senior Vice President of Sales, Sharp NEC Display Solutions of America.

NWN Carousel together with Sharp/NEC invites clients and partners to explore the Boston Experience & Collaboration Center to discover cutting-edge digital solutions, experiencing firsthand the future of work.
