NWN Carousel Ushers in New Era of Cloud Communications for Boston College Football

NWN Carousel, the leading Cloud Communications Service Provider, has partnered with Boston College to usher in a new era for the BC Eagles football program under new head coach Bill O’Brien. NWN Carousel’s Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Gilman was on hand for the Eagles’ annual Spring Game scrimmage at Alumni Stadium on Saturday April 13, 2024 where Coach O’Brien joined him for a check presentation for $5,000 to help “Intercept Cancer” in the memory of Jay McGillis, a Boston College football player who developed leukemia and passed away in 1992.

“NWN Carousel has been a long time supporter of “Intercept Cancer”, which helps families as they try to tackle this life threatening disease,” Gilman said. “NWN Carousel is proud of the strong culture of corporate philanthropy that we’ve developed both locally here in Boston and across North America.”

The Jay Fund was founded by former Boston College football coach Tom Coughlin, who went on to two two Super Bowls as head coach of the New York Giants.

Bill O’Brien was announced as the 37th head coach in Boston College history earlier this year. Like Coughlin, O’Brien had a successful career in the NFL as head coach of the Houston Texans and as Offensive Coordinator for the New England Patriots where he helped the team reach two Super Bowls with quarterback legend Tom Brady.

NWN Carousel provides cloud communications within its Unified Communications & Collaboration offering for Boston College Athletics, as the Eagles take to the field with high hopes in 2024.

“We are excited to work with Coach O’Brien and his staff to ensure optimum headset communications in real time during games when every second and every down counts,” Gilman added. “Coach O’Brien brings renewed excitement to the Boston College athletics program and we look forward to creating great memories for the coach, his staff, the players and the fans.”

NWN Carousel has supported many charitable organizations including the Joe Andruzzi Cancer Foundation and the Pete Frates Foundation to strike out ALS.
