Exeter, Rhode Island, June 16, 2014 — NWN Carousel, a leader in unified communications, IT managed services, data center solutions and visual communications, announced that it has made significant investments in its systems integration for collaboration capabilities, while continuing its geographic expansion into the southern and western U.S. markets. The announcement coincides with the hiring of four key executives who will play an integral role in executing Carousel’s growth strategy, which includes delivering fully integrated collaboration platforms for its enterprise customers.
Effective immediately, Rhonda Wingate has been appointed Vice President of Collaboration, reporting directly to James Marsh, Senior Vice President, NWN Carousel. Wingate, who will oversee Carousel’s collaboration practice, which includes its Microsoft unified communications business, has over 20 years of senior level experience driving results in video, digital media and managed services for companies like AVI-SPL and BT Conferencing. In her new role at Carousel, Wingate will be responsible for developing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to grow Carousel’s collaboration activities across the U.S.
Carousel also announced the appointments of three other executives, including Kelly Lichtenberger who has assumed the role of Vice President of Inside Sales. Lichtenberger, who will report to James Marsh, was previously Director of Inside Sales at LifeSize Communications, where she created a world-class lead generation team with the highest sales conversion rates in the industry. Effective immediately, Lichtenberger will be responsible for growing Carousel’s inside sales team across all of its regions and disciplines.
Carousel Bolsters Geographic Presence in Southern, Western Regions
In addition to its recent growth investments in system integration for collaboration, Carousel also announced the hiring of two senior level sales directors, Frank Douglas and Cindy Morgan. These appointments reflect the company’s continued geographic expansion into the Southern and Western regions of the U.S.
Douglas, who has over two decades of experience as a sales leader, joins Carousel from TW Telecom Georgia. In his new role as Mid Market Sales Director, Georgia, Douglas will be responsible for Carousel’s direct sales team in the southern region. Cindy Morgan, meanwhile, has been appointed Sales Director for Northern California. Morgan has 19 years of experience in the technology industry, having held leadership positions at MCI, Qwest, Avaya, ATC Logistics, NACR and TSE Communications. In the near future, Carousel will continue the expansion of its Mid Market sales teams in these and other regions following the established success of its Mid Market reach in New England.
