Exeter, Rhode Island, June 26, 2013 — NWN Carousel, a leader in data networks, voice & visual communications announced it has hired Daniel Edwards as Vice President of Marketing. An industry veteran with over a decade of experience in the unified communications and audio/visual conferencing industry, Edwards will be tasked with developing a marketing communications strategy as Carousel expands its business into the managed services and the unified communications market.
Edwards joins Carousel from BT Conferencing, where he was VP of Marketing and responsible for all marketing activities globally, covering the US, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America markets. In this role he was responsible for market and competitor research, strategic planning, brand strategy, PR, customer acquisition and cross-sell/up-sell activities. Prior roles at BT included Head of Strategy & Insight, and Director of Strategy & Business Development.

Prior to BT Conferencing, Edwards held a number of account management roles in the advertising industry, working for advertising agencies like Kelliher Samets Volk, Ammirati Puris Lintas, D’Arcy and Bozell Worldwide. Combined, Edwards has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and advertising roles.
In his new role at Carousel, Edwards will be responsible for managing all marketing functions to help the company achieve its sales, growth and profit objectives. He will be also be leading the effort to better enable the sales organization and strengthen Carousel’s market position as a leading systems integrator and an innovator in unified communications.
