EXETER, RI – November 1, 2017 – NWN Carousel, a leader in communication and network technologies, professional and managed services, security, and cloud solutions, today announced it has achieved the Cisco Master Security Specialization. This specialization recognizes Carousel as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy, and support highly sophisticated Cisco network security solutions, and it affirms that Carousel now has the highest level of expertise and best-in-class capabilities with Cisco’s Security Architecture and Technologies.

This achievement follows Carousel’s recent certification as a Master Partner in Cisco’s Cloud and Managed Services Program (CMSP) and Master Collaboration Specialization.

“Carousel is proud to add the Cisco Master Security Specialization to an-ever expanding list of industry certifications and specializations,” said Josh King, Director, Security Solutions, Carousel. “As a Cisco Gold Certified Partner, Carousel has continuously demonstrated its expertise and leadership in delivering advanced security solutions that helps our clients defend against the most sophisticated security threats and ensure successful business outcomes. Carousel clients can be assured that we provide the complete suite of security services with the full backing and support of the Cisco security team and its dedicated resources.”

The Cisco Master Security Specialization recognizes an elite group of channel partners who have invested in the most in-depth technology skills and have demonstrated success in providing services for Cisco’s value-added security solutions. To achieve the Master Security Specialization, partners must already possess the Cisco Advanced Security Architecture Specialization. In addition, stringent requirements around three categories exist; technology capabilities, sales expertise, and Cisco Lifecycle Services.

Individual requirements around specific certifications are also a prerequisite for this program; namely CCIE Security, FireJumper, and CCNP Security programs. Partners are also required to provide several references, which indicate experience designing and deploying Cisco Security technologies in a manner which directly lead to positive business outcomes for their customer. Finally, partners must supply evidence of service offerings, both tactical and managed, which demonstrate breadth of expertise and capabilities in the security space.

The Cisco Channel Partner Program helps partners build the sales, technical, and services skills required to deliver Cisco solutions and customer business outcomes. Through the program’s specializations and certifications, Cisco recognizes a partner’s expertise in deploying solutions based on Cisco advanced technologies and services. Using a third-party audit process, the program validates a partner’s technology skills, business practices, customer satisfaction, presales and post-sales support capabilities, and other critical factors that customers consider when choosing a trusted partner.
