Event brought together honorees showcased in annual ranking of Most Influential Bostonians

NWN Carousel served as presenting sponsor for Boston Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential Bostonians of 2022 event at the Mandarin Oriental Boston on May 24, 2022.

The event celebrated those shaping the future of an evolving city and region. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu led the list of honorees and greeted guests with a rousing speech, along with remarks by Boston Magazine editor Chris Vogel, UMASS President Marty Meehan and Mandarin Oriental General Manager Markus Lindner.

“The city of Boston is evolving and growing in new, exciting and unprecedented ways, all while emerging from a global pandemic and facing the future together,” said Chris Vogel, editor of Boston magazine. “This year’s honorees represent the face of a changing city at a crucial time in its history, so we’re thankful for the opportunity to bring such a diverse, unique group together to celebrate their accomplishments together.”

Representing NWN Carousel, CMO Andrew Gilman spoke before a crowd of 200 VIP attendees and business leaders. “We’re a Boston based company with over 500 employees across New England, recently ranked the 25th Largest Private Company and 50 Fastest Growing Companies. in Massachusetts.  What you may not know that is that whether you flush the water here in the Commonwealth, turn on the lights, ride on the T, invest money, dial 911, attend a class in-person or virtually, go to the hospital, buy insurance, go shopping or even gamble at our local casinos – you’re by proxy an NWN Carousel user of our cloud services. And as the 100 Most Influential Bostonians, you’re more focused today on delivering an incredible employee, constituent, citizen, and customer experience.  One that is an equitable and consistent experience whether they’re at home or in the office, on the Cape, Berkshires or in the City Limits of Boston.  This is no easy task, and I congratulate you all for your grace under the pressure of leading our public and private sectors institutions in 2022 and especially over the past 3 years under a global pandemic. The red-carpet event included live entertainment by violinist Kathryn Haddad. Eataly Boston also provided a fresh dessert station as the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston provided treatment samples to guests.
