Get to know us! At Carousel, we’re more than 1,300 #CarouselCrew members strong, spanning 27 locations across the country. Each month, we’re excited to share a glimpse of our talented team members.

This month, meet MA-based Suzanne Heikkila (or Suzy, as most call her), senior service delivery manager for the past three years. Suzy told us about her favorite technology and her excitement about Carousel. But more importantly, she shared information about a passion project that is near and dear to her heart.

Reach out to Carousel today to see how our talent, partner affiliations, and thousands of certifications can help you achieve your IT goals.

What do you consider the best technology?

Unified Communications & Collaboration tools like WebEx conferencing. These tools allow me to meet with my team and clients anytime, anywhere via audio and video with the ability to share content.

What is most exciting about being a #CarouselCrew member?

Opportunity! Since at Carousel, I have had incredible career growth opportunities. We look at each member as a leader, and we are empowered to create incredible client experiences at each touch point.

What are your top 3 life highlights?

  1. The birth of my sons Jesse, forever 7, and Colton 8
  2. Hosting a Super Hero themed 5K for childhood cancer research called The Bat Run (for more information about The Jesse Heikkila Foundation, click here)
  3. Getting a standing ovation after speaking for the American Red Cross about the importance of blood donations

What have you created that you are most proud of?

In 2014, I established a 501c3 Non-Profit organization (https://jesse.foundation) in memory of my son, Jesse. We have raised more than $165,000 for childhood cancer research to date.

Would you rather be able to teleport anywhere or be able to read minds?

Teleport. I would like to avoid traffic at all costs and have the ability to see friends and family instantly. The next best thing is video conferencing!

What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?

The need for continued funding to research for better outcomes for children battling Neuroblastoma.
